If you are not familiar with this band, you should be! Slightly Stoopid is one of the most popular touring bands in the US, and worldwide. They describe their music as a fusion of folk, rock, reggae, and blues with hip hop, funk, metal and punk. (see their Wikipedia page).

Originally signed by Bradley Nowell of Sublime and Skunk Records, they have been on it since the mid 90s. They have amassed a family/cult like following along with releasing 12 albums (4 of them live albums). Their shows are encapsulating and raw emotion. Let’s just say, “A good time is had by all”.

We’ve worked with Slightly Stoopid for the past 5 years.
Our responsibilities have centered around:

Advertising concerts/events

Promoting attendance

Capturing fans and engaging during and after – social media

We will help to secure local print ads as well as run geo-targeted online ads within a certain proximity to a show. We back those ads up with guerilla street teams who canvass a local area distributing flyers, posters, and other assorted collateral. We also work other events passing out SWAG like Slightly Stoopid branded lighters, rolling papers, etc. (Yes we know, they embrace the marijuana culture.)

Along with this we have also organized local ticket sales promotions and “party bus” trips to the show, in an effort to boost/promote attendance. While at the show we also help to facilitate fan engagement by pushing social media content, capturing fan likes and follows, and hashtagging our hearts out.

Much like the Grateful Dead said, “What a long strange trip it’s been”!
